Dr. Derman is a dedicated internist who has built a commendable career in medicine serving the community in Monroe, New York for the past four years. He embarked on his medical journey at the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014, where he honed his skills and knowledge in osteopathic medicine - a distinct branch of medical practice that promotes a whole-person approach to treatment.

Following his medical school training in 2018, Dr. Derman further specialized in Internal Medicine during his residency at the prestigious Mount Sinai Morningside and West Hospitals in New York City. This period of intensive training equipped him with the expertise to manage a wide spectrum of common illnesses in adult men and women.

Since 2021 Dr. Derman has been caring for the community in Monroe, New York treating patients with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart conditions, thyroid conditions, urinary dysfunction, sexual dysfunction and full spectrum diabetes care including injectable insulin, automatic insulin pumps and constant glucose monitors. 

He is a proactive internist who emphasizes the importance of preventative treatments to maintain and improve overall health.
